Safety and urgent reports
For harassment, abuse, or child-safety concerns, email safety@matcheze.com or review our Child Safety Standards. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Delete your account
You can delete your Matcheze account in the app under Settings, or follow the steps on our Delete account page.
Frequently asked questions
- Who can use Matcheze?
- Matcheze is for adults 18 and older only. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts.
- How do I report or block someone?
- Open their profile or chat, use the menu, and choose Report & block (or Block). You can also email safety concerns to safety@matcheze.com. For child-safety standards, see our Child Safety page.
- What is the difference between pause and delete?
- Pause hides you from Discover, Search, and Live while keeping login, matches, and chats. Delete permanently removes your account. You can manage pause in Settings → Privacy, or start deletion from the Delete account page.
- How do I manage Premium or in-app purchases?
- Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Manage, cancel, or request refunds through your store account settings for Matcheze.
- How do I reset my password?
- On the login screen, choose Forgot password and follow the email link. If you signed up with Apple or Google only, add a password in Settings → Sign-in methods, or contact support.
- Why am I not seeing new matches?
- Widen age or distance in Search preferences, confirm your profile is complete and not paused, then pull to refresh on Discover. When you have seen everyone new nearby, Second Look lets you review people you previously passed on.
- What is Second Look?
- Second Look is a list of profiles you explicitly passed on so you can reconsider them. It does not dump every past pass back into Discover automatically.
